Do you need crabbing experience?
Not at all! Kelly loves teaching first timers how to crab and imparting all the joy and wisdom he’s learned over the years. We encourage those who’ve never crabbed to give it a try and see how much fun it is! Of course, if you’ve crabbed before you’re still welcome and guaranteed a good time!
Do you need to bring your own crab pots and other equipment?
We have all the supplies you could need in our store. So whether you’re crabbing on the dock with us or want to rent a boat and get out on the Bay, we have everything you’ll need to making your crabbing dreams come true.
Can children come too?
Children of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome! It’s our favorite when families visit for the first time and then become repeat visitors. We like to think of everyone as just an extension of our own family.
Do you supply a place to cook the crab as well?
Yes! Not only will we show you where to cook it, we can show you how to cook it if you want. We don’t like to think of ourselves as a place where people just come to catch crab. You’re also welcome to cook it, eat it and hang out just like it’s your home away from home.
What if we want to spend the night?
We have camping sites that are available on a first come first serve basis or several RV spots available. It’s best to make a reservation for an RV spot beforehand.
Do you take reservations for camping spots?
Not for the camping sites, but we will take reservations for the RV hook-ups!
Can I moor my boat there?
Yes, bring your boat and moor it on our dock. Or, if you don’t have a boat we have rentals available too.
What if I forgot some of my supplies, where can I go?
Our store has everything you could possibly need for a fun-filled weekend of crabbing, fishing, boating and camping. From bait and tackle to snacks and ice to marine grade gas, we’ve got you covered.
Where are you located?
We’re located on Hwy 101 just north of Rockaway Beach.
When can we come back?
Tomorrow! As soon as you can! You’re always welcome back at Kelly’s Brighton Marina!
